Aramex “Increasing quality with the CargoHub AEO Compliance framework”

From May 1st Aramex will intensify using the AEO compliance tools of Cargohub. Vincent Iseli, compliance manager at Aramex the Netherlands, explains why they chose CargoHub as partner in development of the Aramex AEO framework.

“We have been using the Cargo Claims tool for sea freight, road transport and air cargo, and it has significantly simplified the claim handling process. Instead of registering each claim individually with each airline, the data is captured within a centralized platform and can be shared with business partners. This gives us much better control on the claim process and allows us to communicate more efficient with our customers.”

Real time information and Central access
Vincent continues: “After testing various modules the AEO compliance tools, Aramex has decided to integrate it organization wide. The AEO module simplifies the way we register incidents from the Quality & AEO perspective, registering root-cause investigations, risk analysis and all incident related information, in one digital file. The follow-up of handling activitues is easier to monitor and the integrated dashboards provides us with  real-time management information.

Advantage of our new AEO tools is that the compliance activities within the company have become more transparent as well as making the audit aspect for Customs easier to execute. We have recently been visited by the Customs and were able to show them exactly the required information and reports  with just “at the touch of a button” .  Previously, we used excel sheets to register information and each time a document was changed, it had to be renamed as well with a new version. If somebody forgot to rename the document, overview could get lost. Fortunately that is something of the past, now we are using this AEO tool.”

Digitization
“Within Aramex, we have a strong focus on further digitizing administrative processes. Working efficiently and being able to provide our customers with instantaneous information and optimal service is what we aim to continuously improve. The cargo damage reporting tool and the NCTS Transit module of the CargoHub platform, where we can monitor real-time movements and now also the customs clearance process together with possible the financial risks they carry are safeguarded, fit perfectly together.”

Maximum quality and Customer satisfaction
“Building a good compliance framework helps us safeguard the quality of our processes and continuously improve them. Together with CargoHub we will seamlessly fit the platform to our business excellence activities enabling us keep improving the customer experience.”

CargoHub founder Raoul Paul: “We are proud that Aramex has chosen the CargoHub platform as quality management system. In the first place, welcoming a ‘wew’ customer is an appreciation for how we’ve built the platform to be able to manage compliance in detail. The platform has been built for seamless adaptation. Last but not least, with Vincent Iseli as an experienced compliance manager and  customer, we receive necessary feedback about improvements and wishes for expansion of the platform. We listen to our customers and their professional expertise to upgrade our platform to the highest expectations.”
