Henrik Pedersen departs APM Terminals to become new chief executive of Associated British Ports

Associated British Ports (ABP) has appointed APM Terminals’ chief commercial officer Henrik Pedersen (pictured above) as its new chief executive.
He is due to take up the post in August and will replace ABP’s outgoing chief executive James Cooper, who announced that he would step down last September after 10 years at the helm of the UK’s largest port group.
Mr Pedersen described his move as one offering an “immensely exciting challenge”.
