Volga-Dnepr has finally announced the appointment of industry veteran and former Qatar Airways Cargo head Ulrich Ogiermann, as senior vice president for operations.
Mr Ogiermann brings 25 years’ experience to the role.
Alongside his role as SVP, he will also act as deputy director general for subsidiary CargoLogicManagement.
His appointment comes several months on from his decision to step down as chief cargo officer at Qatar Airways, a role he held from 2012.
