Container spot rates from Asia continued to soften this week, impacted by a slowdown in demand following the Chinese new year holiday (CNY).
The Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI) saw its comprehensive index shrink 5.6% to 729.49 as all the major tradelanes suffered a second week of rate declines.
