EVA Air is not the only carrier looking for a greater focus on cargo, with short and medium-term passenger forecasts continuing to look dire. The Taiwanese carrier, which saw a 60% growth in cargo between April and July, has decided to cut its 787 aircraft orders from seven to four – and add three 777Fs to its shopping list. It originally ordered 787-10s, but has downgraded to 787-9s, reports Aerotime.
