JD.com reckons cargo aircraft will give wing to logistics

Chinese e-commerce platform JD.com is eyeing plans to enter aviation, the South China Morning Post reports. The move follows SF Express’s acquisition of two 747-400s last month on online shopping platform Taobao. Head of logistics and planning at JD Bill Fu does not go into specifics, but says “aviation will be important” for logistics in the future.
