German 3PL Rhenus Group and Dutch port services provider LBH Group have announced plans to create a joint-venture company to run inland waterway transport operations across Europe.
“Both companies are seeking to set up a joint venture which aims to pool activities in the field of inland waterway shipping and the onward carriage of the associated goods,” the companies said in a joint statement.
