So, after all the past talk and rumours that CH Robinson was ready to beef up spending in Europe to grow inorganically, last week it announced it had shelled out only a tiny fraction of its M&A budget, to snap up Space Cargo in Spain.
The price tag was just $48m, in a deal that valued the target in line with trading multiples for sales of many public companies.
